The Last Dance

Rain or Shine

Well folks, Pam and I have come to the end of our Ft. Greene adventures in jewelry. Saturday, June 28th, is our last day at the Market. And what a doozy of a day it's looking to be!

First and foremost, there's yours truly and my partner in crime, Pamela Weinstock, in the field and on the street, committed to our mission of making the world a more beautiful place, one piece of jewelry at a time.

Next, there's all of the fabulous artisans at the Ft. Greene Artisan Market, beginning with the curator and artist Natasha Harsh and including stained glass, painted silk, potted clay, crocheted clothes, and homemade potions.

And then of course there's the music. This Saturday its Miss Fairchild - more than just a band, they play dynamic modern pop music that also serves as a music appreciation course for lovers of soul and funk music. Blending a timeless sense of songwriting with an undeniable sense of now, displaying a remarkable musical palette influenced by such artists as Sly & The Family Stone and Tony Toni Toné, their live show has drawn comparisons to the legendary JB's for its energy and remarkable transitions. But more than all of that, Miss Fairchild exists to bring joy to an oftentimes-joyless world.

Now, how can you NOT be there?
